One Las Vegas Company Buys Another

A.C. Houston acquires Sandlin Lumber

A.C. Houston Lumber Co. announced today it will buy the assets of Sandlin Lumber Co., also of Las Vegas.

“This expansion reaffirms A.C. Houston Lumber’s commitment to the southern Nevada market in which we have had the pleasure of providing quality service and products since 1948,” Ron Mason, company president, said in a statement.

A.C. Houston operates lumber and truss manufacturing facilities in Las Vegas; Indio and Sacramento, Calif.; and Ketchum, Idaho. In April 2008, it sold two yards in Colorado and three yards in New Mexico to Colorado’s Alpine Lumber Co.
