Professional Builders Supply (PBS) acquired a majority interest in Charlotte, N.C.-based SouthEnd Exteriors. SouthEnd provides turnkey siding and roofing installations to single-family residential builders throughout the Carolinas and Nashville, Tenn. SouthEnd generated an approximate $100 million in annualized revenues, according to PBS.

Jamie Oliver and Ryan Roberts, the owners of SouthEnd, will continue to lead and manage the operation under the SouthEnd Exteriors brand name after the acquisition. PBS CEO Van Isley said the culture and core values at SouthEnd and PBS align “extremely well.” Isley said SouthEnd’s footprint in the south provides expansion opportunities for PBS’ core business.

“SouthEnd’s processes and systems surrounding installed applications will strengthen PBS’ existing installed business and PBS’ breadth of resources will enable SouthEnd to continue its rapid growth trajectory,” Isley said in a news release. “We firmly believe that this new partnership makes us even stronger as a company enabling additional product diversification and it positions us to emerge from the current COVID-19 crissi with unconstrained momentum.

Oliver said PBS’ purchasing and inventory ability and distribution experience will create opportunities for SouthEnd Exteriors and its customers. Established in 2007, SouthEnd Exteriors provides siding and roofing labor and material to builders in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Raleigh, N.C.-based PBS ranked 20th on the 2020 ProSales 100 and generated $315.9 million in revenue in 2019. The dealer sells and distributes building materials out of 10 facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
