Wholesale distributor ABC Supply acquired the assets of Meridian, Idaho-based Exterior Building Supply, a distributor of exterior building materials. The acquisition will increase ABC Supply’s presence in the Boise, Idaho, market and the Exterior Building Supply location represents ABC Supply’s third branch in the metro.
“Over the past 20 years, the Exterior Building Supply team has built strong relationships with contractors in the greater Boise area,” Matt Cooper, vice president of ABC Supply’s West region, said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to continuing to support their contractor customers while providing additional product offerings and services to help their businesses grow.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply has been busy in the acquisition market in the first three months of 2020. The distributor previously acquired Wisconsin-based distributors Midwest Wholesale Materials and Badger Building Supply in January. The company also opened a greenfield location in Mesa, Ariz., in February. ABC Supply was the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100 list and operates more than 790 locations across the United States.
