ABC Supply announced today it has acquired Capstone Supply, a distributor of select exterior building materials with locations in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio. The Columbus location with be consolidated with ABC’s own Columbus branch, while the Cincinnati location will become an offsite warehouse for the ABC branch in Cincinnati.
Tom Kuchan, vice president of ABC’s Northeast Region, said in a statement “In a short time, Capstone Supply’s team established a great reputation with builders throughout Ohio. By welcoming these associates to the ABC Supply family, we’ll build on their momentum and continue to support contractors as they run and grow their businesses.”
Many of Capstone’s employees will take on new roles with ABC.
This marks ABC’s first acquisition of the year, though it opened new locations in Vancouver, Wash., and Colorado Springs, Colo., in May. The No. 1 rated 2017 ProSales 100 company had $7.1 billion in total sales a year ago.
