Beacon Acquires Wichita Falls Builders Wholesale

The acquisition is in line with the distributor’s Ambition 2025 objective.

Beacon has acquired Wichita Falls Builders Wholesale, a distributor of complementary residential exterior building supplies, including windows, doors, and siding to contractors, builders, and retail customers in Wichita Falls, Texas.

“The Builders Wholesale tea, is excited to be joining Beacon. We have worked diligently over the last 33 years to serve our customers in the Wichita Falls market with extensive product knowledge,” Rick Belz, president of Builders Wholesale, said in a news release. “The team and I believe partnering with Beacon provides an opportunity to continue those relationships and bring additional value to customers.”

Jason Taylor, president of Beacon’s west division, said the acquisition helps drive Beacon toward its Ambition 2025 objective to expand the company footprint and grow faster than the market.

“We are pleased to welcome Builders Wholesale employees and customers to Beacon,” Taylor said. “We will partner to bring their customers the benefits of scale and specialized capabilities that differentiate our service model. Builders Wholesale’s long history, high-quality team and strong location will allow us to serve a new and growing market.”

Herndon, Va.-based Beacon distributes roofing materials and complementary building products. The company operates over 400 branches throughout all 50 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.
