Fire protection and safety contractor Endeavor Fire Protection, a platform company of Building Industry Partners (BIP), acquired Allegiant Fire Protection. Allegiant Fire Protection, founded in 2018, is a partner of choice in the Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana markets as both a sub- and prime contractor. The company designs and installs fire suppression systems, with a diverse customer base including hospitals, senior living facilities, data centers, municipalities, and manufacturing, commercial, and industrial clients.

“We are extremely happy to announce the closing of Allegiant Fire Protection, extending our family of companies in the greater Chicagoland area,” Robert Lane, vice president at BIP and director of Endeavor Fire Protection, said in a news release. “We believe that Allegiant is a premier fire protection contractor, providing extraordinary outcomes for its customers across a diverse set of markets. Allegiant brings an established reputation for innovation and excellence, and we believe that they will greatly improve our customer offering throughout Illinois and the Midwest.”

Endeavor Fire Protection officially launched in August after the acquisition of Valley Fire Protection. The platform offers installation, service, and repair services for fire sprinkler and plumbing systems.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Building Industry Partners and Endeavor Fire Protection as we continue our mission to be the best fire protection service provider in the Midwest,” Mike Carli, president of Allegiant, said. “After getting to know Robert and the Building Industry Partners team over the last year I could see they share the same core values and passion for the Allegiant family and the future of our employees’ careers, which has always been my top priority. The Allegiant team has proven over the past four and a half years our ability for tremendous growth and success.”

Boston-based BIP has been involved in the formation of several leading industry players over the past decade, including US LBM, Kodiak Building Partners, Homewood Holdings, U.S. Fence Solutions/Binford Supply, United Cabinet Holdings, and Rugby Architectural Building Products.

BIP also founded Southeast Building Supply Interests in July 2021 with the acquisition of Warner Robins Building Supply, Henson Building Materials, and Mountain Building Supply. Earlier in July, BIP founded four-unit, California-based LBM platform West Coast Lumber.
