Flagship Forest Products Acquires Halpin Lumber

Specialty lumber products distributor Flagship Forest Products has acquired Stoughton, Mass.-based Halpin Lumber Company.

Halpin is a wholesaler of clear Douglas fir lumber, according to a news release from Flagship Forest Products, and will add to the company’s profile. The Brighton, Mass, distributor currently has a line of products that includes cedar, pine, fir, mahogany, and composite products. Established in 1997, Flagship Forest Products distributes its products to independent lumber dealers in the northeast region.

Flagship will be expanding its inventory selection as part of the acquisition, according to Alyson McLaughlin, Flagship’s vice president of sales. McLaughlin is also overseeing the integration of Halpin into the Flagship brand.
