Gypsum Management and Supply, Inc (GMS) has acquired M.R. Lee Building Materials, GMS announced in a press release today.
M.R. Lee is a drywall distributor based in Alsip, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. The company has only one location and has served the area for over 50 years.
Mel Lee, president of M.R. Lee, thinks that the acquisition will be a benefit for the company. “For us, the partnership makes perfect sense as it allows us to better serve the Chicago community moving forward,” Lee said in a press release.
GMS also recently acquired Professional Handling and Development.
