Higginbotham Brothers & Company today acquired Cade’s Building Materials, which serves customers in Mineola, Texas, where it’s based, and in East Texas. Cade’s, which was established in 1928, offers roofing, trim, and siding, windows and doors, and door and cabinet hardware, as well as kitchen and bath design services.

The Mineola location expands brings Higginbotham Brothers’ total locations to 39, which includes lumberyards and hardware stores, throughout Texas.

“Higginbotham Brothers is committed to doing everything possible to provide its customers with superior service and products that meet real needs and provide lasting value. An essential element of value HBC offers its customers is the quality of service these customers can expect,” the company stated in a public release.

HBC, which is based in Comanche, Texas, ranked No. 87 on the 2019 ProSales 100 list with $49.3 million in revenue. The company opened its first store in 1881 and, today, generates more than half (60%) of its revenue from pro customers.
