Interfor Buys Tolleson Lumber Company

British Columbian lumber producer Interfor acquired Perry, Ga.-based Tolleson Lumber Company for $180 million, expanding their southeast U.S. operations by 75%.

This acquisition adds two sawmills to the company and increases Interfor’s annual lumber capacity by nearly 20% to 2.6 billion board feet, placing it in the top five North American lumber companies.
