Koopman Lumber Merges with Doyle Lumber

Firm now has 9 locations in Massachusetts

Today, Koopman Lumber and Hardware announced a merger with the Doyle Lumber Company.

Koopman, ranked No. 60 on the 2017 ProSales 100, will incorporate Doyle’s seven locations in Massachusetts, increasing its total to nine locations across the state. Doyle will continue operations under the Koopman name.

“We are very happy to be able to compete in a new marketplace,” announced Dirk Koopman, CEO of Koopman Lumber. “Doyle has been great organization with many talented people. We look forward to working in the North Metro Area.”

Koopman, based in Whitinsville, Mass., had $103 million in total sales a year ago.
