Northeast Group Holdings, also known as Northeast Building Supply, is acquiring Crane Woodworking. South Norwalk, Conn.-based Crane Woodworking is a manufacturer and installer of custom architectural millwork for high-end homes and businesses in the New England region.
“We considered many options while looking for a business partner and Northeast Group Holdings was the best choice for our customers, our employees, and our community,” Doug Crane, president of Crane Woodworking, said in a news release. “Northeast Group Holdings brings a wealth of industry experience and the resources of a larger operation which, combined with Crane’s specialty in architectural millwork, will produce great synergy.”
According to Northeast, the Crane Woodworking banner will remain in place along with the company president and senior managers.

Bridgeport, Conn.-based Northeast provides builders, architects, and remodelers with building products, premium windows, and millwork from locations in New Canaan and Cornwall Bridge, Conn., Mamaoreck, N.Y., and Long Branch, N.J.
