“Take a look at these windows…” Ken said while I quietly ended my phone call, gathered up my own prints, and slipped out the door.
“Those windows are fine! Sell the job already!” Pete told him.
“I really don’t think your floor joists are in stock,” Ken countered.
I found an empty desk and got back to my own work while the Tortoise and the Hare kept up the race in my office.
