Independently-owned building materials supplier Professional Builders Supply (PBS) acquired the assets of H2H Commercial. Sumter, S.C.-based H2H provides turnkey services for multifamily projects that include interior doors and trim, closet shelving, mirrors, bath hardware, and commercial door frames.

We are excited to welcome the H2H team to our PBS family. Our first priority in acquiring another company is to ensure that the cultures align and that is clearly the case with H2H where there is a relentless focus on providing an unequalled level of customer service and taking great care of their people,” PBS CEO Van Isley said in a prepared statement.

H2H employs 50 associates and annual revenues approximate $30 million. H2H president Scott Hollowell will remain with the company after the acquisition and directly report to John Merritt, the president of PBS’ multifamily division. The multifamily division will be rebranded as PBS commercial as part of the integration, according to PBS.

Raleigh, N.C.-based PBS ranked 23nd on the 2019 ProSales 100 and generated $306.7 mullion in revenue in 2018. The dealer sells and distributes building materials out of nine facilities in five metropolitan markets across North and South Carolina. In April, PBS expanded into the Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C., market.
