Ring’s End Buys 8th Lumberyard

Connecticut firm will take over Tuxis Lumber in Madison

Ring’s End acquired Tuxis Lumber yesterday, Aug. 29. Tuxis, based in Madison, Conn., will become Ring’s End eighth full-service lumberyard.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunity to fulfill the building and home improvement needs of the Madison community,” said Bill Ryan, general manager of the new branch in Madison. “We have the benefit of drawing upon the resources of our nearby store in Branford to meet inventory needs and delivery schedules. We’re very excited to become part of the Madison community and will work hard to earn their trust.”

Headquartered in Darien, Conn., the firm also operates 11 paint centers, a commercial paint and lacquer facility, a custom millwork shop, a centralized distribution warehouse, and an education center. It is the largest retailer of Benjamin Moore paint in Connecticut.
