Simpson Strong-Tie acquired certain assets of Arlington, Texas-based PIERESEARCH, LLP. Established in 1986, PIERESEARCH offers a range of tested products for the deep foundation and earth-retention industries, according to Simpson Strong-Tie.
“This acquisition enables Simpson Strong-Tie to expand our offering of concrete products in the commercial market,” Simpson Strong-Tie vice president of strategic market development Ryan Kaelin said in a prepared statement. “By combining PIERESEARCH’s quality products with the strength of Simpson Strong-Tie sales, field support, and distribution network, we’re creating even greater value for concrete construction professionals.”
Simpson Strong-Tie says PIERESEARCH is a leader in rebar reinforcing alignment products, specializing in durable, tested, non-corrosive plastic rebar reinforcing alignment, along with centralizer products for drilled shafts, soil nails, and rebar-reinforced earth retention anchors.
As part of the acquisition, Greg Belt from PIERESEARCH will remain with Simpson Strong-Tie to ensure a seamless transition as Simpson Strong-Tie assumes customer sales, service, and distribution.
Simpson Strong-Tie is a provider of structural solutions, including products and technology that assist in designing and building safer and stronger homes, according to the company.
