SRS Buys Denver Roofing Dealer, Makes Firm Its Colorado Flagship

American Roofing Supply joins fast-growing specialty dealer

SRS Distribution kept up its rapid growth today with its announced acquisition of American Roofing Supply, a Denver-based firm that will become the specialty dealer’s brand name in Colorado.

American Roofing Supply sells residential and commercial roofing products on the Front Range and in Eastern Colorado. The entire 60-person ownership, sales, and operations team will remain in place, SRS said in a news release, In addition, SRS’ existing operations in Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs, Colo., will change their names from Roofline Supply and Delivery to American Roofing. The Roofline name will continue to be used in other states.

Today’s news comes one week after SRS opened greenfield locations in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Middletown, Ohio; and North Sacramento, Calif., and six weeks after it acquired the five-unit Venture Roofing & Building Supply. (Story) Also in January, it it opened three new locations in Bremerton, Wash., St. Augustine, Fla., and Corpus Christi, Texas.

McKinney, Texas-based SRS now has more than 200 locations in 41 states operating under 22 different subsidiaries’ names. SRS ranked 9th on the current ProSales 100, with sales in 2016 of $1.92 billion, 99% of it to pros.
