SRS Distribution acquired Acorn Roofing Supply, Prairie State Exterior Products, and 55 Building Supply, distributors of residential and commercial roofing, siding, and other related products. The terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed.
The brands, headquartered in Chicago, Ill., was founded in 1984 by Richard Sawilchik and is run today by Bryan Sawilchik and Ross Ridder. Each brand operates a single location in the greater Chicago area.

According to SRS, Sawilchik and Ridder will continue to lead the three brand’s employee base under existing brand names to ensure continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.
