SRS Distribution has acquired Arrowhead Building Supply, a distributor of residential and commercial roofing, siding, and other related products. The terms of the agreement were not publicly disclosed.

We have been friends for years and have developed an immense amount of respect for the way Arrowhead does business,” Dan Tinker, SRS president and CEO, said in a news release. “The company is one of the largest independent roofing distributors in the midwest, and its high shingle volume and complementary footprint will make an excellent addition to our footprint in the region.”
St. Peters, Mo.-based Arrowhead was founded in 1997 and currently operates a network of five locations across Missouri and Arkansas. According to SRS, co-founder Larry Saxe and general manager Bobby Nichols will continue to lead the Arrowhead employee base under the Arrowhead banner.

McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners. SRS operates a family of distinct family of local brands encompassing more than 440 locations across 45 states. The company recently opened nine greenfield locations across eight states.
