SRS Distribution acquired Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son (LTO), a distributor of commercial and residential roofing and other related products. Madison Heights, Mich.-based LTO operated 12 locations across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Terms of the deal were not publicly disclosed. Jame Ollesheimer will continue to lead LTO’s employee base under the LTO banner post-acquisition to ensure continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.
“We have known Jamie for many years and are incredibly proud he has entrusted SRS with the business his family has spent generations building,” Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution, said in a news release. “LTO is one of the oldest and largest independent roofing distributors in the midwest, and its commercial roofing presence will be a strong complement to our residential roofing footprint in the region.”
Ollesheimer said it was important to find a company to partner with “that has a lot to offer” to LTO’s people.

McKinney, Texas-based SRS Distribution is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners and Berkshire Partners. SRS operates a family of distinct family of local brands encompassing more than 430 locations across 44 states. The company ranked 7th on the 2020 ProSales 100 list.
