Building materials distributor US LBM acquired BM Windows of Las Vegas, the company announced in a news release.
BM Windows provides distribution, sales, and installation services for windows and doors to customers in Las Vegas and Reno, Nev. According to the news release, BM Windows will operate as a unit of US LBM’s Desert Companies and the company’s owners, Jim and Rich Urello, will remain at the company as president and vice president, respectively. US LBM acquired the Desert family of companies, Desert Lumber & Truss and Desert Fasteners & Supply of Las Vegas, in May 2014. Desert Companies joined US LBM in 2014 and is a supplier of lumber, engineered wood, fasteners, and roof and floor truss systems to residential homebuilders and contractors in Las Vegas.
“The addition of a specialty dealer in BM Windows strengthens our position and expands our product offering in an important existing market for us,” US LBM president and CEO L.T. Gibson said in a public statement. “We’re excited to welcome the BM Windows team to Desert and US LBM.”
US LBM, based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., was ranked 6th on the 2018 ProSales 100 and operates more than 240 locations nationwide.
