ABC Supply, a distributor of roofing, siding, and other exterior building products, opened branch locations in St. George, Utah, and Redmond, Ore.
DJ Cunningham will manage the St. George location. Cunningham began his career in the industry in 2015 and joined ABC Supply’s Murray, Utah, location in 2018 as an inside sales associate. The new branch manager became a manager candidate trainee in 2020 and will graduate from the company’s branch management training program in 2022.
“We’re always looking for ways to be a stronger partner to our existing and new customers, and our location in St. George takes us one step closer to achieving that goal,” Matt Cooper, vice president of ABC Supply’s west region, said in a news release. “Our experienced team, led by DJ, looks forward to strengthening our relationships with contractors in southwestern Utah, helping them tackle jobs and build their businesses.”
Ari Nieves will manage ABC Supply’s new location in Oregon. Nieves joined ABC Supply as a manager candidate trainee in 2020 after beginning his career in the industry in 2013 as a roof loader. Nieves has also previously served in a manager role at a building supply company.
“We’re excited to bring ABC Supply’s brand of world-class service to contractors in the larger Bend, Oregon, market,” Cooper said in a separate news release. “With Ari’s industry experience and leadership background, contractors are in good hands. Ari and his team are ready and dedicated to helping area contractors overcome challenges by offering the products, support, and services they need to make their jobs easier.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply operates over 800 locations across the United States. Earlier in 2021, ABC Supply expanded with greenfield openings in Salt Lake City, Utah, Port St. Lucie, Fla., Lihue, Hawaii, and Centreville, Md., and the purchases of Kentucky-based Exterior Supply and Oklahoma-based Gutter Source.
