ABC Supply Opens New Location in Kansas

The Junction City, Kan., branch is the distributor’s sixth location in the state.

Exterior building products wholesale distributor ABC Supply opened a new location in Junction City, Kan., according to a news release from the company. The branch, ABC Supply’s sixth Kansas location, will focus on steep- and low-slope roofing products, siding, windows, and gutter-building materials.

According to the news release, Jesse Pickerill will manage the branch. Pickerill joined ABC Supply in 2015 after a career in the U.S. Marine Corps. as a delivery driver at the distributor’s Wichita, Kan., branch. Last year, Pickerill transitioned into a position with the company’s Central Plains District, aiding more than 14 branches implement electronic devices into their fleet of delivery trucks.

“Jesse has a passion for this industry and a drive to do everything he can to make it easier for contractors in north central Kansas to succeed,” Jonathan Shepard, vice president of ABC Supply’s southwest region, said in a public statement. “He’s assembled a talented team at Junction City that shares his commitment to offering the right products and solutions customers need to run their businesses.”

The facility opening is the latest in a regular pattern of facility openings for the Beloit, Wisc.-based distributor. ABC Supply, the largest company on last year’s ProSales 100, has opened new locations in Tennessee, Florida, and Virginia during the past several months. The company now operates more than 700 locations nationwide.
