Cameron Ashley Building Products appointed Jay Cole as regional sales vice president – Southeast. In the role, Cole will be responsible for building and executing the regional sales strategies while developing Cameron Ashley’s sales team for both personal growth and business success, according to the distributor.

Cole has over two decades of experience in sales and management positions. He joins Cameron Ashley from Allura Fiber Cement Products, where he held numerous positions and most recently served as the national sales manager. In the national sales manager role for Allura, Cole was responsible for enhancing, expanding, and increasing market share in the company’s trim segment. Cole began his building materials industry career at Norandex Building Materials Distribution (now part of ABC Supply), working his way up from a builder account manager to a district sales manager.
Cameron Ashley, a portfolio company of private investment firm Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, is a wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products. South Carolina-based Cameron Ashley operates a network of more than 45 stocking distribution centers throughout the United States.
