Cameron Ashley Building Products opened its first distribution center location in Utah. The Salt Lake City location will stock drywall, acoustical ceilings, fiberglass insulation, residential and commercial spray foam, and associated accessories for fast delivery to job sites and customer locations. Cameron Ashley said the opening of the Salt Lake City brands is part of a continuation of its strategy to expand its footprint across the country.
“Our Salt Lake City customers were previously being serviced by our Las Vegas distribution center,” regional sales vice president Rob Rutkowski said in a prepared statement. “This new location allows us to improve delivery experiences by providing same day and next day delivery in addition to having inventory available for will call. We received lots of feedback from customers to open a location here, and we’re thrilled to fulfill this request.”
Chad Stocking will serve as the manager for the new Salt Lake City distribution center.

South Carolina-based Cameron Ashley is a wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products. The company operates a network of more than 50 distribution centers across the United States. In July, the distributor opened a distribution center in Sacramento, its first California location.
