Dallas Wholesale Distribution is adding Versetta Stone siding to its product offering. Versetta Stone siding panels, manufactured by Boral Building Products, provides the texture of authentic stone masonry in a panelized, mortarless format that can be installed easily, according to the manufacturer.

“We’re always looking for products that align with our customer base. Stone is a common cladding material in our markets; however, most of our customers don’t service the masonry business, so we didn’t have a great option for them,” Matt Ellis, vice president of talent management and marketing at Dallas Wholesale Distribution, said in a news release. “When we reviewed Boral Building Products’ Versetta Stone offering, we knew it made a lot of sense. It appeals to the dealer because they already sell siding—it’s a great add-on. For the builder, it offers both easy installation and a great look to boost their brand.”

Dallas Wholesale Distribution will offer the full lineup of Versetta Stone, including the Tight-Cut, Ledgestone, and Carved Block profiles and all colors of the product. Its three locations, Austin, Dallas, and Oklahoma City, serve most of Texas and Oklahoma, as well as parts of Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico.

“As a specialty products distributor in Texas and Oklahoma, Dallas Wholesale is known for providing a lot of value and having great relationships,” said Austin Crawford, director of sales – west for Boral Building Products. “We are excited to have them as the newest Versetta Stone distributor and are looking forward to working closely with them to develop the markets they serve.”

Established in 1955, Dallas Wholesale Distribution is a family-owned, two-step wholesale distributor of building materials and millwork products. The company’s operations include a millwork distribution center in DeSoto, Texas, and building material branches in DeSoto, Texas, and Round Rock, Texas, with offerings including roofing, siding, dimension lumber, engineered wood, sheathing, insulation, and housewrap. The Boral Building Products division comprises 11 brands and the company is a division of Boral North America.
