L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, is opening a new branch location in Beltsville, Md. Serving residents and contractors in the greater Washington, D.C., metro region, the store will offer drywall, steel framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and other building materials from leading manufacturers.
“Beltsville is a very exciting expansion for L&W Supply, allowing us to better service our customers in the entire D.C. metropolis,” John McLaughlin, northeast region vice president, said in a news release. “It opens up new opportunities for the entire team– led by Brian Aexchlimann, a knowledgeable veteran of L&W Supply and the former branch manager for Mechanicsville (Va.).”
With the opening of the Beltsville branch, L&W Supply has eight branches in the D.C./Baltimore area, including Springfield, Md., Hyattsville, Md., and Jessup, Md.
Chicago-based L&W Supply operates nearly 200 locations in 39 states. The company recently made an agreement to purchase Eastern U.S. Gypsum Distribution Operations from Builders FirstSource. The specialty distributor also completed the acquisition of DAICO Supply.
