Building products distributor L&W Supply inducted 14 branch managers into their managing partner program. The designation is the highest level of achievement among the company’s branch managers, according to L&W Supply, and places the selected branch managers in a “distinguished position of leadership” at the company.

In order to be selected as a managing partner, branch managers need to meet stringent requirements in the areas of customer satisfaction, associate development, branch performance, safety compliance, and community development, according to L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply. The selected branch managers will take on important new responsibilities within L&W Supply while continuing to oversee their local branches. The 2020 managing partner inductees are:

  • Ron Welch of Albuquerque, N.M.
  • Greg Jacobsen of Chico, Calif.
  • Mark Thomas of Cohoes, N.Y.
  • Byron Smith of Hildebran, N.C.
  • Bob Dattilio of Lexington, Ky.
  • Carl Roy of Livonia, Mich.
  • TW DeFoor of Macon, Ga.
  • Andrew Poeschel of Madison, Wis.
  • Steve Layman of Mobile, Ala/.
  • Stephen Miller of Orange, Calif.
  • Ryan Langenderfer of Perrysburg, Ohio
  • Kim Gonzalez of Raleigh, N.C.
  • Joshua Gill of Tigard, Ore.
  • Raul Rodriguez of West Sacramento, Calif.

“One of our core beliefs at L&W Supply is that each and every person is capable of greatness,” Dan Piché, president of L&W Supply, said in a news release. “The managing partner program is an acknowledgment of the journey that these associates have taken to become successful leaders, as well as an opportunity for them to make an even bigger impact. We’re all excited to see what they do next as members of a select group of leaders at our company.”

Chicago-based L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles, and other interior building materials, operates 174 branch locations in 35 states.
