Building materials and specialty products distributor L&W Supply promoted Curt Jenkins to the role of central region vice president. Jenkins most recently served as the district manager for Texas. According to L&W Supply, regional vice presidents “play a key leadership role” in the company, responsible for ensuring the distributor’s branches continue to refine service and support for their customers.

“Among the leaders at L&W Supply, Curt Jenkins is uniquely suited for this position,” Dan Piché, president of L&W Supply, said in a news release. “Not only is he one of our most knowledgeable and experienced district managers, but he has an unparalleled grasp on the complexities of our branches in the central region. We’re very excited to see how Curt will continue to push L&W’s branch teams forward to deliver world-class service and operational excellence.”

Jenkins has worked in the building materials industry for 35 years, including 24 with L&W Supply. Prior to serving as the manager for the Texas district, Jenkins served as a branch manager for six different branches in Florida before being promoted to Florida district manager. L&W Supply said Jenkins’ track record of growing talent, delivering results, and his deep knowledge of the market landscape helped him earn the promotion to vice president.

L&W Supply’s central region consists of several major markets for building material distribution, including Chicago, Nashville, and the state of Texas. In his new role, Jenkins will be responsible for leading the central region to expand its branch footprint, optimize processes, and reinforce the company’s commitment to customer and vendor relationships.

Chicago-based L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, operates approximately 200 locations in 38 states.
