Building materials and specialty products distributor L&W Supply appointed Trish Boomsma as the branch manager of the company’s Grand Rapids, Mich., location.
Boomsma is a 15-year veteran of the distribution industry and has worked for L&W Supply for the past four years. With L&W Supply, Boomsma has served as an inside sales representative, a quote coordinator, an analyst, and a trainer. According to L&W, her position as the Grand Rapids branch manager is a reflection of “her ability to generate results and build strong customer relationships.”
“Trish has worn many hats within the branch environment, where she excelled at every task,” Tracy Hein, Great Lakes district manager, said in a news release. “Her high energy, constant positive attitude and collaborative leadership will continue to bring growth and engagement to the Grand Rapids branch.”
In the role of branch manager, Boomsma will be responsible for leading L&W Supply’s customer service representatives, delivery drivers, and other associates to give them the “support they need to provide world-class service,” according to the company. The Grand Rapids branch serves the surrounding metro area, including Wyoming, Saugatuck, Holland, and Muskegon.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, operates approximately 200 locations in 38 states.
