L&W Supply opened a new branch location in New Castle, Del. The facility will offer building materials, construction supplies, and delivery services, including gypsum, acoustical ceilings, metal framing, and insulation.
“With the opening of our New Castle branch, we’re better equipped than ever before to continue fulfilling our customers’ needs across New England,” John McLaughlin, northeast region vice president, said in a news release. “We’ve got some real talent servicing the branch, including branch manager Tom Napier, a 20 year veteran of L&W Supply with multiple sales awards under his belt.”
The New Castle location is L&W Supply’s third Delaware branch, joining Georgetown and Newark.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, operates approximately 200 locations in 38 states. The company recently made an agreement to purchase Eastern U.S. Gypsum Distribution Operations from Builders FirstSource and completed the acquisition of DAICO Supply. In August, the specialty distributor opened a new branch in Beltsville, Md.
