Zucchero is a 30 year building materials industry veteran, and has previously served in roles including acoustical manager and sales manager. Most recently for L&W Supply, Zucchero served as an outside sales representative, where he assembled and grew one of the largest sales territories in the L&W Supply’s west region, according to the company.

“Zucchero is the man for the job,” Chad Cutlip, west region vice president, said in a news release. “His talent and dedication to his customers has earned him many great relationships throughout his career. We’re all excited to see Greg take his skill set to the next level in this position.”

As regional business manager for the west region, Treffers will be responsible for facilitating key vendor relationships, sourcing L&W Supply’s top product categories, and ensuring the company’s branches in the west are aligned with leading brands. The west region consists of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

Treffers has spent the past two years in various roles as part of L&W Supply’s associate manager training (AMT) program. The program is designed to provide college graduates with the opportunity to fast-track their path into a branch manager role. During his initial assignment at L&W Supply’s Phoenix, Ariz., branch, Treffers was a delivery services stocker, dispatcher, and outside sales representative. Treffers also provided assistance as an inside sales representative, with the integration of the company’s Metro Building Products acquisition in Denver for six months in 2019.

“Lukas has been an outstanding candidate since joining the AMT program and has proven himself to be a strategic, analytical, and hardworking associate,” Cutlip said. “His first-hand experience of the unique challenges posed in the west region has positioned him well for success in his new position.”

Gudino has worked for L&W Supply for over two decades in numerous roles, including as an operations supervisor, branch manager, and regional sales manager. Most recently, Gudino served as an outside sales representative.

“John’s leadership and talent is a great example for all of us in northern California,” Cutlip said. “His career has allowed him to touch many different aspects of the business and develop a wealth of experience, which is perfect for his new role.
