Palmer-Donavin appointed Matt Butzier to the newly created chief operating officer (COO) position at the company. In the role, Butzier will report directly to CEO Robyn Pollina and is responsible for sales and operations for both the building material division and door division.

“Matt and I will be working closely with the executive team to build the right structure for our future success,” Pollina said in a prepared statement. “We are committed to leading Palmer-Donavin with an effective team and increasing shareholder value for years to come.”

Butzier has 22 years of experience in sales, purchasing, and management. The newly appointed COO most recently served as vice president/general manager of the building materials division for Palmer-Donavin.

“Robyn’s appointment of Matt as chief operating officer aligns two of our senior leaders’ skillsets that truly complement each other,” Palmer-Donavin president Ron Calhoun said in a news release. “This position alignment reinforces the Palmer-Donavin brand and the unity we find with both divisions. We can leverage our resources to emerge much stronger in the markets we serve.”

Columbus, Ohio-based Palmer-Donavin is a distributor of building materials and a door fabricator.
