Snavely Forest Products promoted Carl Lamb to the position of vice president of eastern operations. In the role, Lamb will oversee business operations for the company’s eastern branches in Westminster, Md., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Liberty, N.C., as well as Snavely International.
Lamb joined the company in 1994 as an engineered wood product (EWP) designer. He has held positions as an inventory control specialist, inside sales representative, office manager, assistant general manager, and general manager-international before most recently serving as the vice president and general manager of Maryland operations. In addition to his roles within Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Snavely Forest Products, Lamb is also a member of the board of directors at the North American Wholesale Lumber Association.
“Carl has been an integral part of the Snavely Forest Products success over the years and we are proud to have him leading our eastern operations,” Snavely Forest Products COO Clark Spitzer said in a news release.
Bill Georgelis will assume the role of general manager of the company’s Westminster, Md., branch and Jeff Jackson will serve as a general manager at the Snavely International Branch.
