Silvermine Stone, the creator of the mortarless stone veneer category of siding products, expanded its distribution network with the addition of U.S. Lumber, a specialty building products distributor based in Duluth, Ga.
U.S. Lumber will distributor Silvermine Stone mortarless stone veneer products through its Stillwater and Big Lake, Minn., locations to customers in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois.
“We are excited to become a distribution partner with Silvermine Stone siding in the upper Midwest. Silvermine’s moisture protection, ease of installation, and authentic look help set them apart from other stone siding manufacturers,” Dustin Warren, director of market development at U.S. Lumber, said in a prepared statement. “The addition of Silvermine to the Big Lake, Minn., and Stillwater, Minn., locations helps round out our total siding category to be a complete siding resource for our customers.”
Silvermine Stone entered the mortarless stone veneer product category market with the launch of the Belterra Collection in 2020. The manufacturer’s products allow builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners to select a stone veneer for a variety of construction projects without the challenges associated with a mortar-applied stone.
“We are excited to partner with U.S. Lumber to service and grow the market in the upper Midwest,” Mike Borom, CEO of Silvermine Stone, said. “U.S. Lumber has tremendous experience launching and growing branded, value-added products and has earned an outstanding reputation among its customers for service, support, and education. U.S. Lumber’s team will increase the awareness and growth of Silvermine Stone.”
