Heritage Landscape Supply Group, a subsidiary of The Home Depot-owned SRS Distribution, has acquired Freshwater Farms (FWF), a wholesale distributor of landscape materials including hardscapes, bulk materials, and nursery products.

“We could not be more thrilled for the FWF to join the Heritage family. We are extremely fortunate to have found a like-minded business leader in Chuck, who brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our combined organization,” Chris McMurrough, president of Heritage, said. “Additionally, this partnership represents our first footprint in New Hampshire, with access to the greater Boston metropolitan area.”

Headquartered in Atkinson, N.H., FWF was founded in 1988 by Chuck Morse, who still runs the company currently. FWF operates on a 13-acre site. Post acquisition, Morse will continue to lead FWF’s team to ensure continuity and consistency, according to Heritage.

“We are incredibly excited for what this next chapter holds for Freshwater Farms. From the start, we knew we had found the right partner in Heritage, an organization that mirrors our values and entrepreneurial culture,” Morse said. “With their backing, we look forward to elevating opportunities for our employees, expanding offerings for our vendors, and doubling down on the best-in-class services that our customers have come to expect.”
