Whether in solid wood or veneered or made from glass and stainless steel, the contemporary movement remains one of the strongest trends in cabinetry styles. Here are some of the latest introductions of contemporary and modern cabinetry.

Timberlake Cabinetry’s Yellowstone collection is designed with a square Shaker stile-and-rail construction that can be styled easily with the addition of hardware and molding accents for more traditional or more contemporary décor. The doors and five-piece drawer fronts feature full-overlay frames and solid recessed center panels. Call it contemporary, Euro-style, or modern–just don’t call it old news. Cabinetry manufacturers and designers are all on board with consumers’ desire for sleeker, un-fussy cabinets that give them design flexibility. Metropolitan slab doors and drawer fronts from Yorktowne Cabinetry have rift-cut wood veneers available in cherry, maple, and oak over furniture-board cores that make them ideal for high-moisture areas, the company says.
