L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, named two new branch managers for Utah store locations. The distributor promoted Luis Godinez to the role of branch manager in Ogden, Utha, and Kelly Kalauli to the role of branch manager in Spanish Fork, Utah.
In the role of branch manager, Godinez and Kalauli will be responsible for leading L&W Supply’s customer service representatives, delivery drivers, and other associates to give them the support needed to provide “world-class service,” according to L&W Supply.
Godinez began his career with the Ogden L&W Supply branch in 2017, working in several positions, including as a boom operator, as an inside sales representative, and, most recently, a delivery service manager. In 2019, the newly promoted branch manager attended and graduated from L&W Supply’s branch manager training program, which is designed to provide associates with the skills they need to be successful as branch managers.
“Luis has proven his strength as an associate in a number of different positions in the span of just a few years,” Chad Cutlip, west regional vice president, said in a prepared statement. “With this experience under his belt combined with his completion of the BMT (branch manager training) class, he is more than ready to lead the Ogden L&W Supply team.”
Kalauli has worked for L&W Supply for 25 years, performing in various roles across the northwest and mountain west districts. Kalauli has served as a CDL driver, boom operator, delivery service manager, inside sales representative, and, most recently, branch manager in Ogden, Utah.
“As a previous branch manager of Ogden, Kelly has already proved himself to be an effective and successful leader at L&W Supply,” Cutlip said. “With his dedication to his team and knowledge of the business, he is a great example of the kind of trailblazer we’re looking for.”
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles, and other building materials, operates 175 branch locations in 36 states.
