L&W Supply is opening a new branch location in Long Island City, N.Y. The store, located in the extreme western tip of the borough of Queens will be managed by Dave Dickerson.
Dickerson brings more than three decades of experience in the building supply industry to the role. Dickerson started his career in 1986 and has held various operations and sales positions throughout New Jersey and New York.
“We are so excited to have our first L&W Supply location in the New York City market, which will allow us to meet the growing demand for building materials and support in the area,” John McLaughlin, L&W Supply’s northeast region vice president, said in a news release.
Chicago-based L&W Supply distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners and related building products. The company operates more than 200 locations in 40 states. L&W Supply is a subsidiary of ABC Supply.
