Building materials and specialty distributor L&W Supply opened a branch location in West Palm Beach, Fla. The new Florida location will offer building materials and delivery services for commercial and residential contractors, including wallboard, acoustical ceilings, joint treatment, insulation, metal framing, and other commonly-used supplies.
“Our new branch in West Palm Beach helps reinforce our deep commitment to our customers and partners across all of south Florida,” Tim Mahaffey, south region vice president at L&W Supply, said in a news release. “We couldn’t be happier that we’re able to continue expanding to meet our customers’ needs with this brand-new facility.”
L&W Supply now operates 15 branches across the state of Florida, with the ability to service customers in every major market in the state. Peter Medick will serve as the branch manager for the West Palm Beach location.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, operates approximately 200 locations in 38 states. The company recently made an agreement to purchase Eastern U.S. Gypsum Distribution Operations from Builders FirstSource and completed the acquisitions of DAICO Supply and G. Proulx Building Materials. The specialty distributor also recently opened branches in Beltsville, Md., New Castle, Del., and Bedford Heights, Ohio.
