L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, promoted Todd Lorenzen to the role of branch manager for Rochester, N.Y. In the role, Lorenzen will be responsible for leading delivery drivers, customer service representatives, and other L&W Supply associates to give them the support needed to deliver “world-class service,” according to the distributor.
Lorenzen has worked for the past 30 years as a member of the L&W Supply Rochester team. The newly promoted branch manager began his career in 1990 as a helper/stocker in Rochester before advancing to become a CDL/boom operator in 1993. In the years since, Lorenzen has worked as an inside sales representative and branch supervisor. In the branch supervisor role, Lorenzen helped ensure branch operations were performed smoothly and efficiently. Lorenzen completed the branch manager training program in 2019.
“Todd is a longtime veteran of the Rochester branch, someone with great experience and insight into the market,” John McLaughlin, northeast regional vice president, said in a news release. “He has what it takes to be a great leader, and I’m excited to see what he does next.”
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles, and other building materials, operates 175 branch locations in 36 states.
