Apex Tool Group Sold To Bain Capital for $1.6 Billion

Global private equity leader Bain Capital will acquire Apex Tool Group for $1.6 billion. The deal, which puts the maker of Crescent, GearWrench, Lufkinm, Jobox, and private-label brands, among others, under the purview of the Boston-based company, is Bain’s largest this year, Bloombergreports.
