LP Names Senior Vice President of General Counsel

Nicole Daniel previously served in the same role for Ciner Enterprises.

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP) named Nicole Daniel as the company’s new senior vice president of general counsel and corporate secretary.

“Nicole brings an exceptionally accomplished legal background and strong senior leadership experience that will serve LP well as we continue to progress on our goal to transform LP into a leading building solutions company and deliver top-tier value for our customers and shareholders,” LP CEO Brad Southern said in a public statement.

Daniel most recently served in the same role for Atlanta-based Ciner Enterprises and Ciner Resources, a producer of natural soda ash. Daniel has also served as the vice president and deputy counsel of Albermarle Corp. and the chief compliance officer at Albermarle.

Nashville, Tenn.-based LP manufacturers high-performance building solutions. The company’s product portfolio includes durable exterior siding and trim systems, engineered wood framing, and structural panels for single-family homes, multifamily projects, repair, and remodel markets.
