Roseburg Forest Products Appoints New Millwork Business Manager

Tim Pruitt will focus on developing millwork applications for the company’s MDF product line.

Roseburg Forest Products named Tim Pruitt as the company’s new business manager for millwork effective immediately, according to a news release.

As the business manager for millwork, a newly-created position, Pruitt will focus on developing millwork applications for the Roseburg MDF product line. Pruitt will collaborate with clients and the Roseburg team to identify growth opportunities from recent MDF acquisitions, according to the company. Roseburg has purchased three MDF plants since 2015: a plant in Medford, Ore., in 2015, a plant in Ontario, Canada in 2018, and a plant in El Dorado, Ark., in February.

Pruitt most recently served as director of business development at USply LLC, where he managed the company’s entry into the millwork segment. Pruitt also previously served as the sales and product manager for similar product lines at ARAUCO North America.

Springfield, Ore.-based Roseburg manufactures softwood and hardwood plywood, lumber, LVL, I-joists, particleboards, and laminates. The privately-owned company owns and manages more than 600,000 acres of timberland in Oregon, North Carolina, and Virginia.
