Simpson Manufacturing Names Mike Olosky COO

Olosky most recently served as the president of Henkel North America.

Simpson Manufacturing, the parent company of Simpson Strong-Tie, appointed Mike Olosky as the company’s COO. Olosky brings more than a decade of global management experience to the role. Most recently, Olosky served as the president of Henkel North America and head of the company’s industrial and electronics division. The new COO also has served as the head of innovation for Henkel’s adhesive technologies business and as president of Henkel Asia Pacific.

“Mike has a proven history of driving change and delivering strong results, and we’re excited to have him join our leadership team as chief operating officer,” Simpson Manufacturing president and CEO Karen Colonias said in a news release. “Mike’s global experience and focus on team motivation and customer engagement make him a perfect match for both the culture and growth opportunities at Simpson Strong-Tie.”

Among his responsibilities while at Henkel, Olosky led large businesses and functions, where he focused on developing and launching new businesses, driving profitable growth, improving innovation, and developing a strong global team with an intense customer focus.”

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Simpson Manufacturing provides and manufactures structural connectors, fasteners, and building solutions.
