Sto Corp. hired Randall Steven Johnson in the role of CFO for Sto Americas, effective August 5. Johnson replaces the retiring Torben Wetche in the role. As CFO, Johnson will oversee all of Sto Americas’ financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, as well as information technology, and will report to Jose Berlingeri, president and CEO of Sto Americas.
“We are very excited to have Rany join us,” Berlingeri said in a news release. “He has a long track record of fostering strategic growth at successful North American companies in related fields. He’s well-positioned to build on the great work Torben has done.”
Prior to joining Sto Americas, Johnson served as the CFO for oil and gas service company PermianLide. He also has 25 years of experience in a variety of CFO or vice president of finance roles for private-equity-backed and publicly-traded companies in North America.
The retiring Wetche served as the CFO of Sto Americas since 2014. Wetche will continue to have a role with Sto Corp. as a member of the board of directors for SkyRise Prefab, a Sto Panel Technology affiliate partially owned by Sto Corp.
Atlanta-based Sto Corp. produces a broad range of cladding, air moisture barrier, and coating systems.
