McCoy’s Building Supply appointed Drew Van Winkle as store manager of the dealer’s new Spicewood, Texas location, slated to open early in the summer of 2022. The Spicewood branch will carry high-quality building materials for a wide range of projects, available in-store and online with ship-to-store and delivery options.

“I am so excited for the opportunity to serve new and existing customers in such a diverse, growing market,” Van Winkle said in a news release. “At McCoy’s, we really strive to play an active part in the communities we’re located in. Our customers can look forward to seeing our store involved in many local events.”

Van Winkle joined McCoy’s three years ago working in the lumberyard and on the sales floor. The new manager enrolled in the company’s management development program and served as an assistant manager in Belton, Cleveland, and Tomball, Texas, where he completed his management training. Van Winkle became the manager of the Belton store in January 2021.

“Our customers can expect myself and my team to meet our McCoy’s standard for exceptional customer service,” Van Winkle said. “We aim to always follow through on our promises and be open to feedback from those who shop with us.”
