McCoy’s Building Supply promoted Rob Perrone to the role of director of merchandising – hardlines and Lisa Barrett to the role of director of store planning and visual merchandising.
“Rob’s years of operational experience, his leadership, and his passion for merchandising make him the perfect person for his new role. I am also so excited for Lisa to lead our company in an area that she has so much expertise in,” Waylon Walker, senior vice president of operations and merchandising at McCoy’s, said in a news release. “It’s an honor to have McCoy’s veterans leading these new teams in ways that will help us serve our customers even better.”

“I’ve spent my entire career at McCoy’s working in our stores. It’s exciting to have a chance to develop our product selection with a focus on meeting our customers’ needs while understanding market trends,” Perrone said. “I’m looking forward to developing deeper relationships with members of our vendor community while supporting our stores and other departments.”

“It is important now more than ever to set up our stores with the products and layouts they need to engage our customers for a successful shopping experience,” Barrett said. “Our enhanced store remodel strategy is also focused on adding products based upon customer demographics to give our shoppers the best solutions available.”
