McCoy’s Building Supply appointed Stan Nelson as store manager of its branch in Laurel, Miss.
Nelson joined McCoy’s Laurel store in 2014 with more than 35 years of industry experience. During his time in Laurel, Nelson held various positions including commercial sales support, assistant manager, and most recently as commercial sales representative.
“We have an awesome staff here that always strives to provide our customers with top-notch service,” Nelson said in a press release.
“Stan’s leadership skills, along with his experience and dedication, make him a great choice to lead this store. I’m very excited for him to take on the role of store manager,” Darien Swann, regional manager at McCoy’s, stated in the release.
Nelson replaced Johnny Sellers, who was promoted to store manager in February 2018, according to the company.
McCoy’s, which ranked No. 12 in ProSales magazine’s 2019 ProSales 100 List, with 2018 total revenue of $884.40 million. Nearly three-quarters (72%) of the company’s revenue comes from professional sales.
