The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) elected its new leadership team yesterday the ProDealer Industry Summit in Phoenix, Ariz. Rick Lierz, president and CEO of Franklin Building Supply in Boise, Idaho, will replace George Lester II as chairman of the association.
Former NLBMDA chairman Paul Hylbert, current chairman of the board at Kodiak Building Partners, was also honored at the event.
“I am deeply honored to become the next chair of the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association” said Lierz. “I have the privilege of following in the footsteps of many incredible industry leaders and I promise to honor those that have come before me with strong leadership and vision of a stronger NLBMDA.”
“Rick has been an active NLBMDA member for decades and has a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise in the LBM industry,” said NLBMDA President & CEO Jonathan Paine. “He has consistently shown an unwavering commitment and passion to serving others.”
